Nobody really likes the villains of XC3. The major ones sure, but not the cast of minor Moebius. So at some point, I got the idea of doing a fic focusing on them. It turned into more of a flexing on them, but that happens.

Notes & Trivia
- I decided that any Consul that looks old, or whose accent does not match their Iris chirality, must be from the City.
- Melia's challenges, aside from a few set when the world's end is near, are legitimate. If a Moebius wins, she will indeed allow them to reincarnate. That's why they are carefully constructed such that they can only be won if the Moebius truly changes their ways - which has never happened.
- The full name of XC2 Vandham is Aquila Paronet Sol Esteriole, hence why his play is called "Vandham Peronet".
- Once I found Dunbar's number, I just had to include a mention of "Dunban's number".
- The AO3 comments seem to think that Melia is being too harsh with Shania. This is entirely the point. As Melia says, in my High Entia culture, being a traitor is the worst thing imaginable.
- Colony i is indeed a number, like other Kevesi colonies. i is the unit used to build "imaginary number"s.
- The choice of two doors is adapted from The Matrix Reloaded.
- "Play well" is the LEGO motto and name origin.
- The description of the room N is in is that of the room in Ocarina of Time's Water Temple where you fight Dark Link.
- It is not a coincidence that the words "pneumatic" and "logic" appear in the sections of X and Y.
- The idea of kicking up dust to advance a random number generator is from Super Mario 64 challenge runs.
- I was not originally expecting Y to be near-redeemed by this fic. But then I got to thinking - what would be the final goal of improving life for Moebius? Logically, make it so that they truly do not change, do not need to rely on others to remain so. But this is not actually what Z wants, so he cannot go in that direction.
- The quote of wisdom, valour, and faith is from the Mata Nui Online Game.
- Is Triton sailing the real world, or another simulation? Good question.
